^{Sweet Robo is seeking an experienced, motivated Business Development Representative to generate and qualify leads for our international sales team.}

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will identify and contact prospective customers, introduce Sweet Robo’s innovative products and qualify sales opportunities before handing them over to the sales team.

You will communicate with individual buyers, business owners, retail chains, venue operators and corporate decision-makers. You must be confident selling and upselling technical, smart and innovative products to an international market.

Key Responsibilities

* Research and identify prospective customers in international markets
* Generate leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn and online research
* Introduce Sweet Robo’s products clearly and professionally
* Qualify prospects based on their needs, interest and business potential
* Identify suitable upselling and cross-selling opportunities
* Secure qualified appointments for the sales team
* Maintain consistent and professional follow-up
* Accurately update lead information and sales activity
* Meet agreed lead-generation and appointment-setting targets

Desired Experience & Qualification

* Applicant must be based in South Africa
* At least three years of sales, business development or lead-generation experience
* Proven experience in outbound prospecting and qualifying leads
* Excellent spoken and written English
* A confident and professional telephone manner
* Strong sales, persuasion and objection-handling skills
* The ability to understand and explain technical or innovative products
* Experience communicating with both individual customers and business decision-makers
* Strong research, administration and follow-up skills
* Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently
* Willing and able to work USA business hours
* Own laptop and cellphone
* Fast, stable internet connection
* A quiet and professional home workspace
* Reliable backup power and internet connectivity

Experience selling technology, equipment, machinery or physical products to international customers will be advantageous.

Package & Remuneration

* A fully remote position for an applicant based in South Africa
* Monthly remuneration of USD 2,000
